Golden Anchor backgammon boards have brass combination locks . All metal parts have the same color. Golden Anchor backgammon boards are hingeless. That means when the board is open, no metal part on the dividing bar is visible - the bar is flat. In closed position the bottom side has no visible metal part and the case stands upright without legs. All other metal fittings as corners, handle base are brass. The Golden Anchor backgammon boards are 53x32 cm closed. The Golden Anchor checkers have 40mm diameter and are 9 to 11 mm tall depending on the model. The length of the Golden Anchor board provides ample space for rolling - 5 checkers on both sides and the dice cups inbetween. They are 30 mm deep - enough to stack three thick checkers inside. This is necessary to provide a big surface for rolling and a high enough wall to prevent dice from rolling out of the board. As in the other Svilo boards, the Golden Anchor boards have the famous oval leather, bottom bumper, lipped Svilo cups. For no additional charge it is possible to change the oval cups with Lady leather, bottom bumper lipped dice cups. There are 4 types of handles used in Svilo backgammon boards. The Soft handle, Hard swing handle, Hard fixed handle and Hard bending handle. Only the first two types are used in the Golden Anchor backgammon boards. The picture on the product page only shows the likely model of handle, but it is not a 100% guarantee. If you like to ensure the exact type of handle, you may ask by email, but you may or may not need to add 20 EURO for handle change depending on availability of materials and semifinished parts. If you make a custom order, then you can pick your preferred handle without surcharge. The dice in the pictures are not necessarily the dice you are buying. The dice in the specification column are the dice you pay for.

Personalization. Some parts may be interchanged free (dice cups, size or color of dice, but not standard dice to precision dice). You might also ask change or addition of dice cups, dice or doubling cube that involve a surcharge.
You can order additional supplies as various types and sizes of dice cups Customization. The change of other elements may require additional labor, materials. It involves risk and time. That is why in the very beginning of making of a custom order you are asked about a 10% surcharge over the normal prices at the Backgammon set gallery. This surcharge also serves as a non-refundable earnest money. In the process of fixing of your order we will reach the real price of the custom product that you order. Even if you do not reach an order or cancel your order before I send it, I will keep the 10% surcharge as a compensation,and I will return all the remaining money. For instance you can have any of the playing fields mounted on a natural leather case. At this time I have the following colors: Gray, Coffee, Black, Green, Cream, Dark brown
